In Progress - Residential construction project that involves a 600 square foot addition and a complete gut remodel of a historic Coral Gables property originally built in 1926. Spanning an impressive 6,544 square feet upon completion, we aim to create a seamless blend of timeless elegance and contemporary living. The addition will expand the living space, allowing for increased comfort and versatility. The kitchen will be transformed into a culinary masterpiece, featuring custom cabinetry, top-of-the-line appliances, and exquisite finishes. The bathrooms will be redesigned with a nod to the past, showcasing vintage-inspired fixtures, luxurious tilework, and elegant details. Throughout the property, we will restore and enhance the architectural elements that define the Old Spanish style, such as arched doorways, wrought iron accents, and colorful tile work. Part of this effort involves ordering specialty iron impact doors, as well as the restoration of the home's original terrazzo flooring; a beautiful color palette that was discovered upon removal of the top layer of the first floor tile. The landscaping will be thoughtfully designed to complement the home's historic character, incorporating lush gardens, intimate courtyards, and inviting outdoor living spaces.
